Pool Cleaning ServicesRegular pool cleaning and maintenance should be at the top of your list when it comes to caring for your pool. Without regular maintenance, your pool can drastically shift from pure and healthy to toxic and dirty. To avoid ruining your pool or having to overhaul it with cleaning, we encourage our clients to enlist our pool cleaning services to help them maintain their pools throughout the year and in between seasonal changes.
General Maintenance General maintenance typically includes regular pool cleanings and filter cleaning. If you have surrounding trees by your pool, they’re likely to cause the occasional build-up of leaves, acorns, and branches. Bugs could also fly into the pool, along with other debris from a rainstorm, Winter storm, or windstorm. We help clear the surface area of your pool by skimming the waters and removing any floating build-up we find, using a netted rod that helps us reach across the pool. We also offer filter cleaning, which rids your pool filter of excessive build-up. Fall Cleanup As the weather transitions into Fall, you may notice more debris in your pool than usual. This is perfectly normal and should be combatted with an adequate Fall cleanup. Fall cleanups differ from standard cleaning that removes small amounts of surface debris. Fall cleanups are needed to remove larger amounts of leaves and branches so that they do not accumulate and clog the filter of your pool. Clogging the filter of your pool can lead to overflowing and obstruction of the filter, which can become costly to repair than if you had enlisted Fall cleanup services. We can also help prepare your pool for Winter with pool covers. Vacuuming Vacuuming helps to remove any debris from below the surface of the water that has either sunk or built up excessively. Our pool vacuums can be installed to regularly vacuum the pool when we are or aren’t around. They pick up heavier debris such as mud, dirt, and sand, which can accumulate to the corners and stairs of your pool. Vacuuming also helps rid the pool floor of any rocks or pebbles that could’ve sunk in the meantime and can navigate between pool corners, edges, and crevices where pile ups may linger. Shock Testing Shock testing is the method of treating your water for any added bacteria by adding chemicals that help balance the water. Shock testing is necessary for chlorine-treated pools that have been used excessively either by numerous guests or children. In order to check your pool’s level of chemicals, shock testing gives us the answers we need so we know how many more chemicals to add or reduce in order for the water to remain safe and clean. When water has not been shock tested regularly, its imbalance can cause irritation to the skin, eyes, or respiratory system, if swam in. In other words, you don’t want your pool to become hazardous! Therefore, shock testing helps resolve any imbalances that are caused from bodily fluids, waste, or overall toxin build-ups. |
